Never will you ever look at those leftover pieces of bread, in the same way. Toss some cheese on the bread along with some ketchup and salt on it. Heat it in the pan for a while and your midnight awesomeness is prepared to be eaten.
2. Vegetable omelet
While omelets may appear to be the healthiest option on the late-night snacks, the serving sizes leave something to be desired in the health department. Make your own healthier version at home by tossing in a whole bunch of veggies.
3. Spicy bhujia
There’s something about a snack that takes no more than a minute and fills your stomach complete, in those long restless hours of night. You just mix puffed rice (Murmura), mashed boiled potatoes, onions, tomatoes. Add lightly crushed nimkis/paapdi & golgappas & sev to it. Garnish with coriander leaves & some lemon juice. Serve immediately.
4. Vegetable sandwich
Vegetable sandwich are delicious, easy and they are your saviors in the times of deep hunger and low bank of ingredients and will to cook. Chop some vegetables including carrots, onions, boiled potatoes, cabbage leaves & tomatoes. Add salt, chaat masala & some chili powder. Mix them well. Take a slice of multigrain bread & spread this mixture over it. Cover with another slice of bread & grill it in a sandwich maker.
Can there be any snack-talk without maggie? Well, no. It’s official that maggie is India’s favorite snack. Especially then when we have late night craving. Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan and add 1/2 finely chopped onion pieces, green chili, green peas, carrot and sweet corns in it. Add turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder according to taste. After the veggies are cooked well, add 300ml water in it and noodles tastemaker in it. Stir on medium flame & add Maggi Vegetable Atta Noodles and coriander in this. Cook for a few minutes & serve hot.
