Sony announced that it will launch, on August 24th of this year, a special model of PS4 Pro, with transparent casting, plus a 4 DualShock control in the same style. The console also comes with 2TB HD, stand upright and a headset-all following the same style of design. It will be marketed for $500, as of August, with forecast to arrive in more territories in September.
In addition to the differentiated design, the PS4 Pro also comes with a PlayStation camera and special serial numbers, such as 09995, which is the release date of the original PSOne, 01115, release of PS4 and 01013, the release of PS VR.
The model will be commemorative, to mark the more than 500 million of units sold from the console, since its launch, and will be released in a limited way, with only 50000 copies produced, and numbered, according to the availability. US and Canada stores will receive the launch, but it is possible for some models to be made available in the rest of the world.
